Month: January 2011

Tutti! is almost here!  Friday, February 4th from 6-9 pm is sure to be a fun evening; we hope you can join us in the Warch Campus Center at Lawrence Univeristy.  Bon Appetit will provide delicious hors d’oeuvres and desserts along with wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.  The evening will feature performances by Academy staff and students, a bountiful silent auction, and a live auction featuring a 2010 Packer football, a Kohler getaway weekend, and more!  Our raffle winners will take home a $2,000 travel voucher for a fabulous vacation, an iPad, a moped, and cash.  Try your hand at putting to win a golf package, or purchase a box of chocolate that might contain a $100 gift certificate for jewelry!  If the weather is cold, park near Emmanuel United Methodist Church and let our shuttle service take you to the campus center.  If you have children aged 4-12, don’t hire a babysitter, bring them to our KidZone, located just beneath the gala and staffed by Academy teachers and high school Girl Choir students.  Would you like to attend the university’s Jazz Band/Symphonic Band concert at 8 pm?  Join us for an hour or two first!  In addition to enjoying a lovely evening out, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping to provide music instruction to those without adequate financial means.  All proceeds of the evening’s event will go to the tutti! scholarship fund, the primary source of tuition assistance at the Academy of Music.

Read more about tutti! in the Appleton Post Crescent article from January 25, or visit our website to order your tickets.

See you on the 4th!
