Question: What’s the number one skill that students need to master before leaving college?
Answer: Writing! Writing need not be complicated. I think people are afraid to address issues that are of some value both to them and to their employers because they can’t write. I want to help people write simple, plain English. You need to be able to explain a simple, or even a complicated thing, on ONE page. It has to be on one page – I don’t care how complicated it is, it needs to be on one page. Practice this. It forces you to be simple and clear.
