In Fall of 2008, Chrissie Nelson, ’09, interned at the Appleton Public Defender’s Office which provides representation in criminal matters to those who meet certain eligibility criteria. Chrissie majored in History and Spanish and will be starting law school in Fall 2009.
In Summer 2008, Katie Loppnow, ’09, interned at Community Homestead in Osceola, WI. Community Homestead is a non-profit rural community living and working with people with special needs. Katie is majoring in Psychology and French.
In this interview, Kaileigh Arnold, ’10, talks about her internship with the UN World Food Programme in Thailand and India during the Summer of 2008. Kaileigh was a sophomore during her internship; she is majoring in Biological Anthropology. She is also involved on campus with the Volunteer and Community Service Center as the Social Justice Program Coordinator.
