Small grants (up to $1000) are available to support faculty experimenting with service learning pedagogy.  Funds may be used to attend conferences or participate in webinars, purchase supplies (including books), defray travel expenses for students in a class using service learning, provide additional compensation for faculty time invested over the summer or winter break on developing service learning projects.  These are suggestions only; other expenses not mentioned here may be covered.

Grants may not be used to hire student research assistants. If you are a faculty member who is working with a student to put together a service learning project, you and the student may qualify for the Engaged Learning Fellows Program.
