Lawrence University standout Rose Tepper has been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic team.
Tepper (Mount Vernon, Iowa/Mount Vernon), a sophomore, is a psychology major and sports a 3.66 grade point average. Tepper also earned Academic All-Midwest Conference honors.
To qualify for the team, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met a NCAA automatic or provisional qualifying mark. Tepper qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in 2011.
Tepper earned her berth in the NCAA Championships when she broke the Lawrence indoor record with a leap of 5 feet, 5.75 inches this past season. Tepper was the 2010 Midwest Conference championship in the high jump as she won the title outdoors at Illinois College.
