Our IT department received the HP tablets today. Very exciting.

The project team (Jeff Clark, Jodi Sedlock, Andrew Knudsen, and David Thompson) met today to discuss the structure and content of the lab portion of the course. We agreed to each develop and test run laboratory activities in various courses during this year.

I spend a fair bit of time reading through the NAGT Cutting Edge workshop notes on Geopads
and used this to generate a list of potential software for our tablets. I also looked for wireless GPS receivers. The best place that I found for academics is Walcott Scientific. They are very knowledgeable, responsive, and have great prices.
