TODAY marks the end of 6th week! yes 6TH WEEK! four more weeks of school and a week of exams left and then off to summer break. I swear it feels like the past 6 weeks flew by so fast. I mean right now I am not really feeling the pressures of exam week coming around the corner, more like the second round of midterms are about to fall upon most of us.
This past wednesday I headed off to Portland, Oregon for my friends graduation at Lewis and Clark College. Yes, it was really amazing. Wonderful commencement dinners, nice gowns and caps, beautiful venue and great speeches telling the graduate class to go out and conquer the world. It made me super nervous about graduating next year, in a few weeks I will officially be a SENIOR! Unfortunately while I was in Oregon I missed one of the greatest events on campus- THE LAWRENCE INTERNATIONAL CABARET!
On Friday May 9th we had the 38th annual Lawrence International Cabaret and we usually have more than a 100 Lawrence University students from around the globe performing various acts, from singing to dancing! There is also a fashion show where students can showcase any attire from around the world.

In the mean time, while I am studying relentlessly for my next midterms, I will be looking forward to the next S.O.U.P event this coming Saturday May 17th. My organizations S.O.U.P (Student Organization for University Programming) is hosting The Ballroom Thieves and SNORT Concert. So, The Ballroom Thieves are a high-energy rock trio and SNORT is our very own Lawrence University band opening for The Ballroom Thieves.
