Beekeeping at Lawrence University
For my senior experience, I studied how honeybee physiology changes in response to changing environmental temperature. Before I could do any of my research, I had to learn how to tend and care for the bees I used in my study. Learning how to bee keep deepen my love and understand of biology in more ways that I could have imagined. I wanted to honor my experiences with the bees by sharing what goes into caring for our insect friends here at Lawrence with the general community. I hope the webpages I create can help contextualize the great research happening here at Lawrence and connect people to the more-than-human world we live with and learn from everyday.
