Dear Lawrentians,
Judicial Board is seeking nominations to join the Board for the 2020-2021 year. J Board is looking to fill over half of the Board, so we are REALLY seeking nominations.
The goal of the University’s disciplinary system is to encourage and assist the students in assuming the responsibility for their own behaviors and discipline. The purpose of the Judicial Board is to educate rather than punish, to be helpful rather than vindictive, and to stimulate students to think about their actions as they relate to those of the other members of the university community.
The Board is committed to having a diverse board that represents the student body here at Lawrence, so we ask you to consider that commitment as you make your nominations.
Any rising sophomore, junior, senior, or 5th year may be nominated. Multiple nominations are welcome. To nominate a student for the Judicial Board, please email their name to deanofstudents@lawrence.edu by Thursday, May 7th.
