Office of Communications to return to Alumni and Development Division

As we anticipate the change in leadership in Communications with Megan Scott’s upcoming departure, the decision has been made to return Communications to the Alumni and Development division as of Sept. 1, reports Cal Husmann, Senior Vice President for Alumni and Development.

As shared previously, Kelly Landis will serve as interim associate vice president for communications, leading the Communications team and continuing her good work overseeing the brand elevation component of the strategic initiatives. Communications will continue to support the marketing and communications needs of the entire university.

Communications will report directly to Husmann until a new vice president is hired. The VP will then oversee the Alumni, Development, and Communications divisions.

“It’s expected that the joining of our three teams in Brokaw Hall under a new vice president will create greater synergy within our division,” Husmann said.
