LUgge

LUgge is inspired by a Danish and Norwegian word, Hygge (pronounced “hoo-ga”), which describes a feeling of coziness and contentment. It is associated with enjoying the simple things in life, such as spending time with one’s family and friends, relaxing in comfortable surroundings, and indulging in small pleasures like good food and drink.

Instead of shying away from the winter, why not celebrate the unique beauty and fun activities the season offers? Here are some events that let you truly embrace the season.

Visit lawrence.edu for the most up-to-date schedule of LUgge-related events!
