LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Lake Forest College women’s soccer team scored a pair of goals in the first two minutes and defeated Lawrence University 2-0 in a Midwest Conference game at Farwell Field.
Holly Lesperance scored just 1:07 into the match, and Michelle Greeneway added a second goal just 47 seconds later to put the Foresters up 2-0.
Rachel Tenuta made three saves to pick up the shutout for Lake Forest (13-4-1, 7-2-1 MWC). Dani Glass stopped 13 shots for the Vikings (5-10-1, 3-6-1).
