The Beloit College volleyball team rallied to win the first two sets and then held off Lawrence University in the third to post a 3-0 Midwest Conference victory Friday night at Alexander Gymnasium.
The Bucs (16-11, 6-2 MWC) rallied to win the first set 25-23 and rallied to take the second 29-27. Beloit led big in the third but Lawrence (12-15, 3-5) rallied before the Bucs prevailed 25-21.
Mary Parker and Tess Jacquez paced Beloit with 13 kills apiece. Clare Bohrer led Lawrence with 10 kills and Jenna Picha added eight. Diane McLeod piled up 31 assists, and Kathleen Rowland had 20 digs for the Vikings.
