GRINNELL, Iowa — The Grinnell College women’s soccer team picked up a goal in each half for a 2-0 Midwest Conference win over Lawrence University on Saturday.
Carolyn Silverman scored at 22:46, and the Pioneers carried that one-goal edge into halftime. Grinnell sealed the win with a goal from Francesca Varias at 64:15.
Grinnell got the shutout as Katy Oldach made four saves. Dani Glass stopped 11 shots for the Vikings.
