Lawrence doubles up Prairie Fire

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Lawrence University men’s tennis team took down Knox College 6-3 in a Midwest Conference match on Sunday at the Green Bay Tennis Center.

Lawrence (8-8, 2-1 MWC) won at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles to take the early advantage. Brian DeCorte and Adam Busch were 8-4 winners at No. 2, and Ethan Perushek and Ben Tomhave won 8-1 at No. 3.

The Vikings then swept the Nos. 3-6 singles matches to secure the victory. Brian DeCorte (No. 3), Mitch Kasprzyk (No. 4), Adam Busch (No. 5) and Izaya Turenne (No. 6) were all singles winners for Lawrence.
