LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Lake Forest College men’s tennis team downed Lawrence University 8-1 in a Midwest Conference match on Saturday.
Lawrence’s lone victory on the afternoon came at No. 1 singles where David Jumes and Brian DeCorte topped Dan Pivonka and John Snider 9-8. The Vikings won the tiebreaker 9-7.
Lawrence fell to 11-8 on the season and 5-2 in conference play. The Foresters are now 11-7 and 4-1 in the league.
