GRINNELL, Iowa — The Grinnell College women’s soccer team scored in the fifth minute Sunday and made that goal stand up in a 1-0 Midwest Conference victory over Lawrence University.
Hannah Truesdale scored an unassisted goal just 4:28 into the match to put the Pioneers (6-6-2, 4-2-1 MWC).
Goalkeeper Regan Kasprak made four saves to get the shutout for Grinnell. Kori Looker made 13 saves for the Vikings (1-11-0, 0-6-0).
