APPLETON, Wis. — The Carroll University men’s soccer team scored twice in first seven minutes and rode that to a 2-0 Midwest Conference win over Lawrence University on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
Colton Woyak scored just 46 seconds into the match off passes from Caden Pruitt and Francisco Sajuan.
The Pioneers then struck at the 6:24 mark when Kieran DeGroot scored an unassisted goal for a 2-0 edge.
Brady Smith stopped two shots to pick up the shutout for Carroll (2-3-1, 1-0-0 MWC). Joe Krivit made nine saves for the Vikings (1-4-1, 0-1-0). Carroll had a 20-6 edge in shots.
