FOND DU LAC, Wis. — The Marian University men’s soccer team scored the game’s final two goals to post a 4-2 nonconference win over Lawrence University on Tuesday night.
Alonso Fragoso scored two goals and had two assists for Marian (7-1-0).
Marian scored in the second minute, but the Vikings came back to tie the match at 1-1 on Sean Garwood’s first career goal at the 18:44 mark.
The score stayed that way until the 58th minute when Israel Tovar scored for the Sabres. Lawrence knotted the match at 2-2 just seven minutes later when Max Loebl scored his first career goal at 65:11.
Zach Peltonen then scored at 82:04 to put Marian ahead to stay at 3-2. Fragoso added a goal in the final seconds to complete the scoring.
