The Lawrence University volleyball team split a pair of matches Saturday at the Lawrence Triangular at Alexander Gymnasium.
In the opening match, the Vikings defeated Lake Forest College 3-2. Lawrence won 25-23, 12-25, 25-17, 19-25, 15-8. UW-Stevens Point defeated Lawrence 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-16) in the final match of the day.
UW-Stevens Point also defeated Lake Forest 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-17).
In the match against Lake Forest, Clare Bohrer paced the Vikings with 13 kills, Diane McLeod added 11 kills, 31 assists and 11 digs. Shannon McLain added 10 kills for Lawrence, and Kathleen Rowland had a team-high 22 digs.
McLain led Lawrence with eight kills against UW-Stevens Point.
