MONMOUTH, Ill. — Four Monmouth College women’s basketball players scored in double figures as the Scots beat Lawrence University 97-31 in a Midwest Conference game on Friday night at Glennie Gymnasium.
Haley Jones paced the Scots (4-3, 3-1 MWC) with 13 points. Colleen Forrest added 12 points, Kathleen Forrest had 11 and Kaley Corban had 10. Fourteen players scored for Monmouth.
Amber Lisowe led Lawrence (1-7, 1-3) with 10 points. Alex Deshler pulled down a game-high nine rebounds for the Vikings.
Lawrence had an absolutely frigid shooting night. The Vikings were only 9-for-53 (17 percent) from the floor. Lawrence went 0-for-22 from beyond the 3-point line. Cathy Kaye was the only Lawrence player that had a solid night shooting the ball. Kaye finished with eight points of 4 of 8 shooting.
