WAUKEGAN, Ill. — Inclement weather and poor field conditions have forced the cancellation of Monday’s games at the Midwest Conference Classic.
Lawrence was scheduled to play both Monmouth College and Lake Forest College on Monday.
Lawrence played three games Saturday in the MWC Classic, which pits the North Division teams against their rivals from the South Division, and posted a 1-2 record.
The games that were completed on Saturday will not count in the conference standings. Lawrence resumes conference play when the Vikings host Ripon College at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Whiting Field.
