Flack leads Lawrence swimmers in battle with Titans

OSHKOSH, Wis. — Emily Flack won a pair of events on Friday night as the Lawrence University swim teams took on UW-Oshkosh in a dual meet at Albee Hall.

Oshkosh won the women’s competition 121-84, and the Titans also came out on top in the men’s meet by a score of 122-77.

Flack swam to victory in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:04.19 and took first  in the 200 freestyle in 2:01.50. Also winning for the Vikings were Hayley Cardinal in the 100 breaststroke, Taylor Winter in the 500 freestyle and the 200 medley relay team.

On the men’s side, Evan Flack won the 200 freestyle in 1:51.16, Grant Wilkie was first in the 100 freestyle in 52.31 seconds, Charlie Mann won the 100 backstroke in 59.41 seconds and Caleb Stellmach won the 500 freestyle in 5:22.22.
