NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Ian Pelton took sixth place to lead the Lawrence University fencing team at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships this past weekend at the University of Notre Dame.
Pelton posted a 7-6 record to lead the men’s sabre contingent. Also competing in sabre, Graham Jones placed 10th and Drew Doares was 12th.
Other top finishers for the Vikings were: Alex Biehl (12th, men’s foil), Moses Zarkin-Scott (10th, men’s epee), Alyssa Rosenbaum (women’s epee, 12th), Shelby Guinn (13th, women’s sabre) and Kali Thibault (18th, women’s foil).
