WHITEWATER, Wis. — The Lawrence University volleyball team won the final three sets Friday night to defeat Wheaton College 3-1 at the UW-Whitewater Invitational.
Lawrence defeated the Thunder 19-25, 25-16, 25-15, 25-17.
Megan Conley pounded out 14 kills and Terese Swords and Betsy Sorensen added eight kills apiece for the Vikings, who hit .264 as a team. Diane McLeod piled up 32 assists and Kathleen Rowland had a team-high 11 digs for Lawrence.
