Balanced attack leads Vikings past Wisconsin Lutheran

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Lawrence University volleyball team used a balanced attack to post a 3-1 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday night at the Kern Center.

Lawrence won the match 25-19, 27-25, 19-25, 25-19 at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Triangular.

Megan Conley paced the Vikings (2-3) with 13 kills, and Betsy Sorensen added 12 kills and a match-high four blocks. Terese Swords also finished in double digits with 10 kills.

Setter Diane McLeod piled up 37 assists and also picked up 13 digs. Kathleen Rowland paced the Vikings with a match-high 29 digs and five aces.
