MOUNT VERNON, Iowa — The Lawrence University women’s tennis team topped Cornell College 6-3 on Friday in a nonconference match.
The Vikings started the match by winning at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles and then took four of the six singles matches.
Allison Juda led the way with an impressive 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles and she teamed with Katie Frankel for an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles. Polly Dalton also picked up a pair of wins as she won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 4 singles and teamed with Gayatri Malhotra for an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
