LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Lake Forest College women’s basketball team pulled away early and rolled to an 80-44 Midwest Conference win over Lawrence University on Tuesday.
Sam Cady and K.C. Stralka scored 19 points apiece to lead the Foresters (2-11, 2-6 MWC). Sam Schuring added 10 points, six assists and five steals for the Foresters.
Alex Deshler paced Lawrence (3-9, 1-6) with 12 points and seven rebounds.
The Foresters went on an early 11-0 run, and Lake Forest led by double digits less than nine minutes into the game. The Foresters built a 44-18 lead at the half.
Lake Forest would lead by as many as 41 points in the second half.
