RIPON, Wis. — Kacie Cullen scored 14 points to lead the Ripon College women’s basketball team to a 60-36 Midwest Conference victory over Lawrence University on Wednesday night at the Storzer Center.
Sia Gonyo added 13 for Ripon (6-9, 6-4 MWC). Andrea Wilkinson paced Lawrence (3-11, 1-8) with 11 points, and Patsy Kealey added nine points for the Vikings.
Ripon pulled away early and led by 10 points a little more than seven minutes into the game. The Red Hawks led by as many as 19 points in the first half, but the Vikings got jumpers from Katie Schumacher, Kealey and Wilkinson to trim the margin to 33-20 at the half.
Ripon then scored the first 10 points of the second half to build the margin to 43-20 and seal the victory. The Red Hawks would lead by as many as 32 points.
