WHITEWATER, Wis. — The Lawrence University track team took home three titles on Saturday at the Drake Alternative at UW-Whitewater.
Lawrence posted a sweep of the top three spots in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase. Katherine Dannecker was first in 12:05.97, and Alyssa Herman grabbed second in 12:36.32. Kelsey Miles placed third in 13:43.54.
The Vikings finished 1-2 in the 10,000 meters with Kristen Bischel taking the title in 40:28.76. Anna Ratliff grabbed second in 41:56.26.
Clare Bruning also picked up a win for Lawrence as she took first in the 5,000 in 19:12.99.
On the men’s side, the top finisher was Peter Rantis, who took second in the 5,000 in 17:34.70.
