WAUKESHA, Wis. — The Lawrence University volleyball team picked up a 3-1 nonconference victory over the University of Dubuque on Saturday at the Carroll Quad.
Lawrence dropped the first set 25-12, but the Vikings stormed back to win the final three sets 28-26, 25-23, 25-23.
Freshman hitter Arianna Cohen led the way by pounding out 17 kills for the Vikings (1-5). Kayla Storm added eight kills and nine digs, and Betsy Sorensen picked up six kills and four service aces.
Lauren Ray had a team-high 25 assists and had 10 digs. Sydney Nelson added nine assists for Lawrence, and Rachael Wuensch had 10 digs.
