APPLETON, Wis. — The Lawrence University women’s tennis team won the Nos. 3-6 singles matches and cruised to a 6-3 Midwest Conference victory over Beloit College on Saturday at the Lawrence Courts.
Lawrence (4-3, 2-1 MWC) took a 2-1 lead after the doubles as the No. 1 team of Katie Frankel and Lindsay Holsen and the No. 3 team of Shang Li and Alicia Lex were both winners.
Elana Lambert, Annie Harincar, Katie Nottberg and El Goblirsch all won in straight sets in singles to secure the victory for the Vikings.
Beloit falls to 1-6, 0-3 in the league.
