APPLETON, Wis. — Lawrence University women’s soccer standout Ryan Berkley has been chosen for the All-Midwest Conference team in a vote by league coaches.
Berkley (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township), a sophomore midfielder, was a second-team selection.
Berkley led the Vikings in goals, assists and points this season. Berkley, who was named to the all-conference team for the first time, scored eight times and handed out six assists for 22 points.
In Midwest Conference play, Berkley scored in Lawrence’s 2-1 win over Grinnell and had the lone goal in the Vikings’ 1-0 victory over Cornell College. She also posted a season-best two assists in Lawrence’s 5-0 victory over Ripon College.
Berkley his season highs with two goals in Lawrence’s 2-0 win over UW-Stevens Point and the Vikings’ 3-1 win at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
The Vikings finished with a 9-9 overall record and a 4-6 mark in Midwest Conference play.
