APPLETON, Wis. — Lawrence University softball standout Tierney Duffy was the Vikings’ lone selection to the All-Midwest Conference team in a vote of league coaches.
Duffy (North Riverside, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield), a senior outfielder, was a second-team selection.
Duffy hit .418 for the season, and that ranked second in the Midwest Conference. She posted a .457 on-base percentage, scored 27 runs and swiped 20 bases in 23 tries.
During conference play, Duffy hit .377 and tied for the team high with 17 runs scored while batting in the No. 9 spot in the order. She went 11-for-12 on stolen bases during 20 conference games. Duffy also posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in league play.
Lawrence finished the season with an 18-14-2 record and an 11-8-1 mark in Midwest Conference play.
