GREEN BAY, Wis. — The St. Norbert College volleyball team won a tight first set and went on to a 3-0 Midwest Conference victory over Lawrence University on Wednesday at Green Bay Notre Dame Academy.

The Green Knights (6-12, 1-0 MWC) pulled out the first set 27-25 and then took the next two sets 25-17 and 25-19.

Lawrence (5-11, 0-1) had more kills and more digs, but the Vikings piled up more than twice the attack errors of the Green Knights. Lawrence had 32 kills, compared to 30 for the Green Knights, and the Vikings had 55 digs, compared to 33 for St. Norbert. Lawrence had 27 attack errors while St. Norbert had just 12.

Arianna Neumeyer led Lawrence and all players with 13 kills, three aces and 14 digs. Sydney Nelson paced the Vikings with 17 assists, and Cyra Bammer added 12 digs.
