MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Terese Swords pounded out 20 kills to lead the Lawrence University volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Wednesday night at the Kern Center.
Lawrence won the match 25-14, 25-20, 18-25, 25-22 as part of the MSOE Triangular.
Swords had 20 kills to go with just one attack error in 38 attempts for a stellar .500 hitting percentage. Betsy Sorensen and Megan Conley added seven kills and three blocks apiece for Lawrence (3-3).
Diane McLeod ran the attack with 34 assists, and she also picked up seven digs. Kathleen Rowland had a match-high 22 digs and added a pair of service aces for the Vikings.
