DE PERE, Wis. — The Lawrence University track and field team took home three individual titles on Thursday at the St. Norbert College Twilight Invitational at Schneider Stadium.
Anna Bolgrien led the Lawrence women with a first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:08.57. Led by Bolgrien, Lawrence finished third in the team standings with 89 points.
Sofie Yang grabbed a pair of top-three finishes as she took second in the pole vault (10 feet) and was third in the 100 hurldes in 17.27 seconds. Kate Kilgus was the runner-up in the 1,500 with a time of 5:05.89, and Kristen Bischel grabbed third in the 5,000 in 19:06.31.
The women’s 400 relay team also took third in 50.17 seconds.
Jamie Brisbois and James Holden both took home titles for the Lawrence men, who finished fourth with 56.33 points.
Brisbois raced to victory in the 5,000 in 15:42.15, and Holden won the javelin with a throw of 147-05. JP Ranumas posted a pair of top-four finishes as he took second in the 110 hurdles (15.93 seconds) and fourth in the 400 hurdles (1:01.53).
