APPLETON, Wis. — Connor Schodorf scored on the 107th minute on Saturday to lift the Wisconsin Lutheran College men’s soccer team to a 1-0 nonconference win over Lawrence University in double overtime.
Schodorf’s shot came on a throw-in from Isaiah Gronholz with just three minutes left in the second overtime.
Wisconsin Lutheran (2-2-0) piled up a 22-6 edge in shots, but it was the Vikings (0-3-1) who had the better chances early in overtime. Cedric Guichard made two saves, both in the first overtime, to pick up the shutout for the Warriors.
Joe Krivit entered the match to start the second half for Lawrence and finished with eight saves. Robert Meiser got the start and made seven saves in the first half.
