Lawrence University baseball standout Robert Rashid has been named to the All-Midwest Conference North Division team in a vote by league coaches.
Rashid (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township), a junior center fielder, was named to the team for the first time. Rashid hit .371 in 16 conference games with three doubles, one triple, one homer and 11 runs batted.
Rashid led the league with 13 stolen bases and scored a team-high 16 runs.
On the season, Rashid hit .366 in 36 games. He piled up 10 doubles, two triples, a homer and 23 RBIs. Rashid also broke the school season record with 32 stolen bases and ranks in the top 10 nationally in both stolen bases and stolen bases per game.
