The Lawrence University men’s soccer team scored three times in the first 34 minutes and posted a 3-0 Midwest Conference victory over Monmouth College on Saturday.
Jared Padway got the scoring started when he took a pass from Stephen Exarhos at the 10-minute mark and scored to put Lawrence up 1-0.
Andrew King got his first goal of the season at 30:59 to give Lawrence a 2-0 edge. King retrieved a ball that Monmouth keeper Frank Bowman had punched out and lifted it over Bowman before he could get back in net.
Hashim Allah-Morad finished the scoring at 33:15 when he lofted a free kick over Bowman to make it 3-0.
Steven Solomon played the first half and made one save to pick up the victory.
