The Lawrence University women’s soccer team got a goal from star forward Mallory Koula and that was enough to give the Vikings a 1-0 nonconference victory over the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday at Whiting Field West.

Koula took a pass from freshman Keli Muchowski and scored at the 31:45 mark of the first half to give the Vikings a 1-0 lead.

Lawrence made that stand up with seven saves from junior goalkeeper Cassie Burke. It was Burke’s first shutout of the season.¬†Lawrence outshot the Raiders 22-16.
