Stephen Exarhos scored his first two goals of the season to lead the Lawrence University men’s soccer team to a 4-1 Midwest Conference victory over Knox College on Saturday at Whiting Field West.
Exarhos, who had missed a number of games due to injury, scored in the seventh and 14th minutes to help Lawrence extend its win streak to three matches.
Exarhos gave the Vikings a 1-0 lead when he took a pass from Kelson Warner and beat Knox goalkeeper Franz Huebner at 6:40. Lawrence quickly extended its lead to 2-0 when Charlie Mann scored off a pass from David Caprile at 10:20.
Exarhos made it 3-0 when he took a pass from Vince Butitta and scored at 13:07.
Knox cut the lead to 3-1 in the 52nd minute, but Nick Craker countered for the Vikings with his first collegiate goal in the 64th minute.
Taiju Oki made three saves to pick up the win for the Vikings.
