WINNECONNE, Wis. — Lawrence University cross country star Sam Stevens was the top finisher from the Midwest Conference at the UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational on Saturday at Lake Breeze Golf Club.
Stevens covered the 8,000-meter course in 26:02.29 to finish 47th in the elite field of teams, which included four squads from the MWC. Led by Stevens, the Vikings finished 26th with 787 points.
Emily Muhs paced the Lawrence women by finishing 114th and completed the 6,000-meter course in 23:53.22. The Lawrence women finished 36th with 1,090 points.
