ORLANDO, Fla. — A pair of super tiebreakers proved to be the difference as the Birmingham Southern College women’s tennis team downed Lawrence University 5-4 in a nonconference match on Sunday.
The Vikings had won the No. 1 doubles match, and Gayatri Malhotra (No. 3), Hannah Geoffrey (No. 4) and Polly Dalton (No. 5) all won in singles.
Birmingham Southern pulled out the victory by winning a super tiebreakers at both No. 1 and No. 6 singles.
