MADISON, Wis. — The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday at the Edgewood College Triangular.
Cardinal Stritch University defeated the Vikings (5-9) 25-18, 25-20, 25-14, and Edgewood beat Lawrence 25-21, 25-19, 25-12.
In the match against Cardinal Stritch, Lawrence struggled to a .056 hitting percentage. Shannon McLain paced Lawrence with six kills and Bethany Larsen had four. Diane McLeod picked up 16 assists, and Kathleen Rowland had 17 digs.
Against Edgewood, the Vikings hit only .093, and McLain picked up a team-high nine kills. Kayla Storm added seven kills and Larsen had five. McLeod hada Â team-high 22 assists, and Storm paced the squad with 13 digs.
