The Lake Forest College men’s soccer team got a goal just before the half and held on for a 1-0 Midwest Conference win over Lawrence University on Saturday at Whiting Field West.
Mahir Mameledzija scored for Lake Forest (6-1-1, 3-0-0 MWC) at 42:37 off a pass from Steven Johnson to give the Foresters the lead.
Kevin Aslett stopped nine shots for Lawrence (3-4-1, 1-1-1), and Ethan Guenther made two saves for the Foresters.
