STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The UW-Stevens Point women’s tennis team downed Lawrence University 8-1 in the season opener on Sunday.
Lawrence’s lone victory came at No. 2 doubles, where Gayatri Malhotra and Polly Dalton posted an 8-2 win.
The match marked the debut of new Lawrence head coach Steve Francour.
