SALEM, Ore. — The Willamette University men’s soccer team scored three goals in the first 25 minutes and rolled to a 7-0 nonconference win over Lawrence University on Sunday.
The Bearcats (2-0) then added three goals in the final 16:17 of the first half to grab a 6-0 lead at the break. Willamette then scored just 14 seconds into the second half to complete the scoring.
Trevor Jensen and Kevin Martin scored two goals apiece for the Bearcats, who had 18 shots for the match. Lawrence (1-1) managed just five shots.
