APPLETON, Wis. — The Lawrence University swim teams nearly came away with a clean sweep on Friday night at Boldt Natatorium, but the Vikings had to settle for a split in a dual meet with UW-Oshkosh.

The Lawrence women defeated the Titans 124-107, and UW-Oshkosh nipped the Lawrence men 96-93.

Paige Witter, Emily Flack and Taylor Winter all won multiple individual events for the Lawrence women. Witter won the 100-yard butterfly and the 500 freestyle. Flack took firsts in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke, and Winter won the 100 and 1,000 freestyle.

On the men’s side, Evan Flack and Charlie Mann both won a pair of events. Flack grabbed first in the 200 and 500 freestyle, and Mann swam to wins in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
