WAUKESHA, Wis. — The Carroll University women’s basketball team scored the game’s first 16 points and rolled to a 67-32 Midwest Conference win over Lawrence University on Tuesday at Van Male Fieldhouse.
Ashley Janczewski paced Carroll (11-6, 8-4 MWC) with 13 points, and Breann Maryanski added 12.
Kassidy Rinehart led Lawrence (3-13, 1-10) with 10 points, and Alex Deshler added eight points and tied for game-high honors with six rebounds.
Lawrence didn’t score until Rinehart’s layup with 14:45 left in the first half. The Pioneers started the game with a 33-6 edge and went on to lead 44-15 at the half.
Carroll would lead by as many as 39 points in the second half.
